Summary of Teaching Experience
Engaged in teaching since 1990. Extensive higher education teaching experience in a variety of formats (field and class-based) including Marine Biology, Ecology and Comparative Conservation Practices, Marine Conservation Biology, Oceanography, General Biology, Advanced Marine Mammal Biology, Ecology; Human Anatomy and Physiology, Italian language and Independent Study credits. Mentored over 30 students engaged in thesis projects at universities worldwide. Collaborated with other faculty and staff regarding course curricula and teaching methods. Certified Anatomy and Physiology Instructor by the State of Hawaii, Board of Massage Therapy. CPR and First Aid Instructor. Marine Safety Coast Guard Certified Instructor.
